On Windows XP w/ SP2
When I Hide Desktop Icons, the wallpaper quality drops.

I have some information written on the wallpaper (.BMP) that becomes almost
unreadable.
The wallpaper was edited by MS Paint.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you,
Fabio

the same same happens with the original. I just noticed it has to do also
with the stretched mode, cuz it looses quality and windows trieds to
smoothedges.

If I use, let's say, center mode, it does not seem to change the quality.

Thank you

Hello Jack

Thanks for your time.

Yes, I did try other formats, but the same thing happens. But I guess it's
all the same for Windows, eventually it will take the file and save it to a
BMP image to be displayed.

Tks,
Fabio R.V.
