i've got my computer 2 days ago and when i shutdown my computer
yesterday, i turned it on today. Nothing loads up besides a screen with
purple and green lines, sorta like on tv when theres no channel and u
just see black and white dots everywhere. One time it actually showed
the loading bar but the color looked like there was no graphic driver
installed and says vista detected an error, to repair your computer may
restart several times (something like that). My computer restarted a lot
already and nothing (restart automatically). Give me a break! its only 2
days old!

remember i can't press f8 or f5 when it starts up.

Sounds surely like a hardware problem and I would bet memory. Take it
back to where you got it or call tech support. You could try reseating
the memory and see if that helps. There are other possibilities also
of course, but its a place to start. Least that is where I always
start.

Justtony,

How did you fix this? I just recently started having a similar issue. My
initial impression is that my graphics card finally deciding to bow out after
3 years. Is this not the issue?

I've had a couple of NVidia cards that have gone bad due to bad
capacitors, and more recently a power supply which actually went "Pop"
as a capacitor exploded so you can often see split cans just by looking
at the board. Of course NVidia don't actually make the cards, I think
one was a BFG, the other I can't recall.
