I,m on windows xp proff- and every time i go online my computer goes all
different colors and i have to reset it what would be my problem

You don't give us much information!
What part of the screen or window changes color?
What are you doing to reset it?
What Video Card (or chip set) do you use?
Belarc Advisor (free from www.belarc.com) will tell you this if you don't know.

Most likely you are losing your video card or you don't have the correct drivers.
