anyway to stop certain popup balloons on vista startup?

HI, is there anyway to disable certain notifications on vista,

What it is, i have a map of another network drive under my pc but i dont
always have the other pc turned on causing a constant notification every time
i turn my pc on saying not all network drives can be connected or words to
that effect.

Id like to disable this but not the whole notification program.
