I am having problems with unwanted explorer windows
popping up, and installing unwanted software. If this
isn't extortion, I don't know what is. I have located the
suspected files and directories, but cannot delete them!
I have had no luck changing attributes from a dos prompt,
and whenever I'm in an explorer window, they will just
pop up randomly and in groups. If I have to reformat my
hard drive and start over, so be it, but I would like to
fix the problem without that.

Thanks for any help

Richard
