Post subject: Can not send or reply to a contact
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>mail (more info?)

Not sure if this has been posted before, but just happened today: after
replying to an email from a contact in my address book, my reply bounces
back with this message: permanent failure: other address status
I have sent emails to this contact before without problem. Any suggestions
or ideas what is up? I looked at the contact in my address book and he is
only listed one time/one name, etc.

Thanks,
NCbooks

Taking the error message at face value, it means that the
intended recipient's email address is no longer valid, or his ISP's
mail server has crashed. If you want me to check on the latter
possibility, I will need to know the domain portion of that email
address (what comes after the @ symbol).
