Hi,

Is it possible to establish a remote desktop connection from windows 2000
professional to windows xp professional, ie, 2000 is the host & xp is the
client. I know the other way round works. But i couldn't find any info on
this way through web search.

No, not natively.

Look at using something like UltraVNC as an alternative. Download the
server, viewer, encryption plug-in and mirror video driver from...

You can take a look at Ideal Remote that uses ThightVNC free tool to take
remote control. See at http://pointdev.com/en/ideal-remote/index.php
You can also contact the Technical support at support.DeleteThis@pointdev.com, they
will answer you quicly and precisely about your scenario.
