One way is to remove the BT account from Windows Mail>close WM>and rebuild
the account.
Take note of all your server settings and remember your password!
Tools>accounts>select the account>remove.
Close WM.
Recreate the account and you will get all messages that are on the server.

Why not simply forward the ones you need to yourself from the web interface.

NB: Your method will eventually result in a full mail box on the server, you
should set a number of days to delete from the server to avoid this.
You should back up your mail regularly to avoid your current situation.

You can also set up a second copy of the account and download them from that
copy, or just delete the account and add it back again as mac suggested.
