Post subject: can't receive files or video
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>messenger (more info?)

Hi there,

I am currently trying to help out a friend setting up windows messenger. He
used his AOL email address to create his .net account. We both added our
respective .net accounts to windows messenger and have been successful at
chatting. However, we have run into problems sending files and using our
web cams. I have been able to do these functions with somebody else without
any difficulty, so we think it is a setting on his computer.

Does anybody have any insight into what we can do to get his windows
messenger fully functional?

Thanks for any input!! Wink

Pam
