Would you consider trying an account email address that does not contain a special character such as your _ symbol? Some email programs don t allow them at all and it seems to me I saw that somewhere about Live IDs but I can t find anything supporting that now Perhaps you could sign up as tojoie or joieto and see if you still experience issues Just a thought

Yeah and then someone that takes your advice might get infected by malicious software by reducing Internet Explorer s security Fortunate for you they are not likely to know the problem was caused by you; instead they will blame Microsoft and try to get help from a newsgroup such as this It will waste a lot of people s time and might even cost someone a lot of money that gets stole

Thanks for reporting back I believe one of the Windows Updates of a few months ago corrects the problem of the Temp folder becoming too full If you re in the market for a new antivirus I highly recommend the free one from Microsoft It has given me no problems whatsoever which I can t say for any of the others I have tried http: www microsoft com security_essentials Gar

Your settings are correct That symptom can be caused by interference from an antivirus program Which antivirus are you running? As a minimum email scanning in the antivirus should be turned off although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects In a worst case scenario your antivirus may need to be uninstalled Email scanning in any antivirus should be disabled for
