Hi, Since getting my new Aspire T690 Acer computer with Vista home premium
the radios in our house have static interference so bad that we can't listen
to them. We have tried all other appliances and, as my husband is an
electrician, also bypassed the safety switch, but when I unplug the computer
all seemed OK with the radio. I have bought a powerboard with filter but
that doesn't work either so I am asking here in case someone has had the
same problem and fixed it. I am in Sydney, Australia, by the way. Thanks
in advance

Hi maeve,

Do you connect to the Internet via wireless? If you do, you might need to
change the channel that you use.

The RF interference is likely to be coming through a cheap unshielded case.
If you get a metal case for your computer it may help.

Hi, I have ADSL2+ and have determined that it is not caused by the phone
line! I unplugged the phones and the modem. My husband is thinking of
having the computer on it's own circuit of power.
