Hello,

I have just installed broadband (orange) after many years on dial up. I
suddenly seem to be unable to open new web pages in a new tab in explorer -
the page opens in a new window instead. I have had no problems until now. I
normally right-click & select 'open in new tab'. I've checked Tools/Internet
options/general/tabs/settings and 'enable tabbed browsing' is checked ok.

Anybody know what might have happened ?

Thanks

KK

How about trying FireFox? It is more secure and has been doing tabbed
browsing for several years now.

Hi KK,

Check your tabbed browsing settings and make sure that they are set
like the ones at this link (step 5). Some links are controlled by the
website and will open a new window regardless of what you have set in
the settings. (EX: Ads, downloads, etc.)

Hope this helps,
Shawn
