HI,
I recently changed hd on my computer. Now I have the old HD in an external
enclosure so I can drag and drop the files from the old hd to the new hd. I
can't find the outlook express files in order to save my address book. What
files am I looking for? Thanks. Ken

for address book just do a search for *.wab to find any/all. Then point to
that in the File/Import..Address Book dialog.

First look for wab.exe on your old hard disk. The hidden files and folders
should show and navigate to Old hd:/Program Files/Outlook Express and double
click on wab.exe. If you cannot find it click Start > Run > Type: wab >
click OK. On the Address book click Help menu > About Adress book. You'll see
the path something like C:\Documents and Settings\Your_Name\Application
Data\Microsoft\Address Book\Your_Name.wab. Remember that path.
Then see this link bellow:

OLEXP: How to Import and Export Address Books in Outlook Express
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/175017

Follow the steps under "Importing Address Books or Business Cards". During
the import navigate to the .wab file above
