It does not make much sense to do anything on a system that has
malicious software on it, so reduce the chances of that with these
scans, then troubleshoot your problem.
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware
detection programs:
Malwarebytes (MBAM):
http://malwarebytes.org/
SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS):
http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if desired.
How did you verify the original user profiled was corrupted or did
something not work and you think it might be corrupted?
What makes you think it is corrupted?
What does "says it is corrupt or whatever" mean? Is that the message
you see or do you see:
Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted. You may
be logged in using a temporary User Profile.
Did you follow the instructions in the Microsoft article for copying
data from a corrupt user profile to a new user profile?
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811151
Once you get a proper login and the profile is copied, there are
instructions for how to move Outlook Express info.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/188854/
Is that what you are using for email? Other things are different.
