msn6,chat

I am unable to connect with my friend in canada to chat.
up until a few months ago we had no problem. both
upgraded to msn6 and now cannot continue. we have
eliminated every possible cause...don't know what to
do...Help.

By "chat" do you mean text chat, or voice, or video?
