Greetings Ray,

Two possibilities here -- firstly, if you've signed in somewhere else and mistakenly saved
your password, it could be signing you in (if this is happening *every time* then this
probably isn't it). If you think this is the case, you can change your password here:
https://memberservices.passport.net/ppsecure/MSRV_ChangePW.srf

Secondly (and more likely), you have installed MSN Messenger 6 and both Windows Messenger and
MSN Messenger 6 are "fighting" to login. To correct this, assuming you want to use MSN
Messenger 6, simply double-click the Windows Messenger icon, choose the Tools menu, then
Options, then Preferences, uncheck 'Run this program when Windows starts' and click OK. If
you'd rather use Windows Messenger, you can just uninstall MSN Messenger 6 by clicking Start,
then Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, click MSN Messenger 6 and then click the 'Remove'
button.

Hi Ray,

Personally, I use both at the same time, but I login to different Passport's in each (which
you can do as well). It really just depends what you like (I know people that hate the MSN
Messenger 6 interface but prefer the previous versions, so they use Windows Messenger and
vice-versa).

If I had to decide between the two, I'd probably chose MSN Messenger 6 at this point, only
because you can resize the video window =).
