I would like to know how to disable messenger on my
windows xp home version to protect my kids from internet

Protect it. You can download such programs at www.mess.be
Also, (if you don't use MSN) you can simply unnstall MSN!

Greetings Paulus,

Simply download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/disablemessenger.reg

After running/importing, Windows Messenger will no longer load. Note that this doesn't
prevent MSN Messenger from being downloaded, installed and run instead.
