Post subject: mf.sys is modifying the device capabilties
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>device_driver>dev (more info?)

Hi everybody........

I have a problem in Windows Xp with the mf.sys.

I have a pci express based multi-serial port card. The serial ports are
enumerated under the multi function device.when the port is being
enumerated it is querying for the device capabilities. In return the the
pci.sys is reporting the SystemWake and DeviceWake as 5 and 4
respectively (i.e.PowerSystemHibernate and PowerDeviceD3 resp.).But the
mf.sys is reporting these capabilities as 0 and 0.
why does the mf.sys is doing that?

Please any one help me!!

-Thanks in advance.
