no login till change screen res

i work for a governemnt agency. we have to login into a citrix connection
and select remote desktop as an application. when i do it runs the scripts,
but no login appears until i lower the screen resolution on my main home
monitor then reset it back. then all is well. bit of a hassle tho...
it works fine on my laptop so this issue is unique to my dual monitor setup
it seems.
anyone have a fix for this?
