Hi all
I have given up trying every combination of nat/nat plugins etc
to get audio and video to work - it works some times - sometimes not.
it works with some people - not with others.

Is there an error log so that I can try to work out for myself what is going on
in terms of blocked ports etc.

Thanks
AH

Greetings Adam,

No, unfortunately there is no log. As long as your NAT supports Universal Plug and Play
(UPnP), voice/video should *always* work.

but it doesn't always work (especialy now!) and in my opinion is one
of messenger's biggest problems (as proved by the number of threads
relating to
it)

I have pnp (infact a microsoft router) and get the feeling that the
problem is external - be it blocked ports by my cable company or a
problem with the messenger server.

if there were a way of seeing where the packets are getting blocked it
would
help resolve this.
