installing programs

Does anyone know when microsoft is going to have a service package for Window
Vista. I bought a computer about four months ago with Window Vista Home
Premium. Almost ever new program I install on my computer, I have problems
with. With installing or it doesn't work right. I'm gettint to a point where
I don't want to install any thing more. I'm getting tried of going to
discussions groups to solve problems with these programs.
I like Vista over XP, but is it worth the problems?
Half my time on the computer is spend trying to fix problems. Is this
operating systerm ever going to work right?

in u can install them, but cant run them, you can also try to run them in
the compatiblility mode. rt click program .exe and 'run in xp/sp2
compatibility' mode.

btw, vista sp1 expected soon as its beta's have been released by Microsoft
to it's beta testers.
