I have Vista installed with the Aero interface. I have seen this
demonstrated in a computer store but don't know what it is called or how it
is done. What I saw was that several programs were running and they were
displayed in a 3d manner which allowed you to select the one to bring to the
foreground. Something similar to what Alt + Tab did on Windows XP. I
wonder if someone could tell me how to achieve this.

Chris;
Not a dumb question at all.

Look in the bottom left corner near the start button.
Hover over each until you find "Switch between windows"
Left click it.

Thanks to all who responded - I have seen this working now on my system. In
particular thanks for noticing my system time was incorrect.

If you are having problems finding this, it is possible that you are not
running the full Aero interface. Are the tops of the windows translucent?
