I own a laptop with Windows xp home edition sp2
All of a sudden yesterday a 2" transparent bar from top to bottom showed up
on the left side of the display about 2" from the left. I can see through it
but it is annoying.
Would anyone know how that came about and how to remove it?
I have tried to update my graphics and Fn-F5 but no positive results.
Thanks for your help

If you didn't make any changes, this should be a hardware issue (video
adapter, display, cable).
