Post subject: disconnecting from Dialup screwing up my updates
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>general (more info?)

I temporarily have dialup and need to get a bunch of updates for my 2 day
old computer. Is there anyway I can get it to stay connected over night so I
can get the larger updates. my last laptop had no problem downloading a
100MB file over night and would disconnect itself when the download was
complete... I will be back to high speed in a couple weeks but need the
updates now.

Thanks guys
Paul
