data file size limits?

Does Windows live mail have the 2GB data file limitation that OE had or has
it been improved? Did some Googling but can't locate an answer.

Do you truly expect to send a file over 2 GB? Most internet connections are
too slow to support such a massive amount of data. Also, most email servers
have a size limit that is much smaller than 2 GB so if Windows Mail does or
does not have a size limit, it would be irrelevant. I tried to look at the
Tech-N-Go's help but the web site has a security problem so I did not look
at the Tngmail.tech-n-go.com page.

The "Internet Message Format" might specify a maximum size for messages; it
is the standard definition of email messages. The standard is at:

I don't see a GB size specified there but it might be in a standard for
attachments, such as perhaps MIME attachments. You can find all the
standards in ietf.org. They are called Request for Comments (RFCs) but the
approved ones are the standards; that is how the internet works. There are
other ways to look at RFCs, such as at rfc-ref.org.
