Post subject: new computer
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>mail (more info?)

I recently purchased a new computer with vista which I'll change over to W7
soon. I was assured by the sales person that I could move my microsoft
office files and outlook information; contacts and folders to my new
computer. I'm still smiling and hopefull. I can't for the life of me
figure out how to do this. I was using microsoft 2003 on my other Dell.
I'm getting no where trying to copy my contacts/address book/mail folders so
I can installit into this new windows mail program.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you really mean "Outlook" you are in the wrong newsgroup.
The newsgroup to which you posted is for the Windows Mail program.
You are more likely to find Outlook experts in the Outlook newsgroup:

microsoft.public.outlook.general (via NNTP), or via the web:
