Post subject: XP Theme Screwed Up!

I created my own XP theme based on "the classic theme" long, long time ago.
A few days ago, my PC started to load a screwed-up theme occasionally (about
1 out of 10 times). It is identical to my own theme except bars (e.g.,
active bar). That is, bars look like those in the default XP blue theme.

When that happens, I can correct the problem either by rebooting or by
selecting another theme, re-selecting my theme and applying it in "Display
Properties."

What is causing this weird behavior? Thanks.

It's probable you are seeing one the common problems of late, that changes
the 'permissions' of access to the registry.
