Someone was using my comp and adjusted the taskbar from the bottom of the
screen and moved it to the right hand side of the screen. The taskbar is not
locked, but has been extended fully to the top and bottom of the screen to
the point where the taskbar slightly goes offscreen and i can not see its
edge to move it. I have changed the display settings to attempt to resize my
display and get an top or bottom edge of the taskbar to move it, with no
luck. Can someone tell me how to fix this so i can get the taskbar back down
at the bottom of the page?

If the task bar is not locked you should be able to click on the center of it
and then move it to the bottom of the screen. You won't see the task bar move
but when the mouse pointer gets near the bottom of the screen the task bar
will jump into place.

you click on the taskbar and hold it down and drag it to where you want it.
It if doesn't allow you then right click on taskbar and make sure that lock
in not checked. If so uncheck and then try again. hope this helps. thanks,

You don't need its edge. Just click within it, in an unused part of
it, and drag it to the bottom.

For reference, here's my standard post on this subject:

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the screen,
it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move it from any
side to another, simply click on an unused part of it and drag it
where you want it. Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge;
clicking on the edge and dragging will resize it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it
and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.

You didn't quote any replies, so I'm not sure who you're thanking. But
if I'm one of them, you're welcome. Glad to help.
