Hello!

In our company, we are running our own Instant Messaging Virtual Server in
Exchange 2000. The clients (W2000 and XP) are running Windows Messenger
version 4.6.0084. With this version you can also connect with your .NET
account to a MSN server.

For security reasons MS informed us to upgrade to, at least, Messenger
version 4.7.2000, but in this version it is not possible to make a
connection with our own Exchange Message Server.....

For the XP clients it is possible to run MSN 6.0 and Windows Messenger 4.6
at the same time, but the W2000 clients can't install these 2 version
separate!

Solution?

Thx in advance

Huub Roem, the Netherlands.

Thx Lucky One!

But this version 5 of Windows Messenger has not all the MSN6.0 features
(e.g. display pictures) and Windows Messenger 5.0 is not (yet) in a Dutch
version, first end of september....

Hi Huub
You will not be able to use Msn Messenger 6 for Exchange 2000 Sever it does
not support it
you will have to use Windows Messenger 5. or 4.7 for Exchange 2000 Sever
