Post subject: Windows Explorer missing info
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>configuration_manage (more info?)

I used to get an indicator at the bottom of open folders that told me the
number of files and the total size of the the folder. That no longer
happens, and I would like to retrieve this feature.

Perhaps you're referring to the Status Bar?

Open Windows Explorer or My Computer and go to View > Status Bar.
