Volume control doesn't work / MS Natural MM Keyboard

Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit / Intellitype Driver ITP64ENG.exe v6.1
installed

When I press the Mute button on my,"Microsoft wireless natural multimedia
keyboard (whew)" the control appears on the screen, and the mute function
works, on and off. However the ± buttons have no affect? Any ideas? - Thanks
