I just upgraded to a laptop with Vista Enterprise and Office 2007 Enterprise
Plus.
Everything seems to work just great, EXCEPT when I try to send just a simple
test message it hangs in the outbox and continues to send (at least it thinks
it is sending). By looking at the "Send/receive Progress" box, it loops and
continues to count sending and receiving (hundreds of times). It receives
with no problem.
I cannot delete the file, nor get out of the "send mode" except by loading
"Task Manager" and "End Process"
I have uninstalled Office and reinstalled; created a new .pst (which worked
well until I tried to send again -- then the same.) I installed the WMUtility
and it says there is corruption in some file.
The Google tricks don't seem to work either. I need help. I may just give
up Vista and go back to what works - Xp.
