The latest batch included KB928366. It downloads, installation initialises
but then fails. No specific reason given. Any ideas, anyone?

TIA

update KB928366 and KB928367 download ,initialize and I get the message
update complete but the little yellow icon comes back with the same 2
updates to install . Any one know why and what should I do . I don't know
too much about computers but I try to keep all the updates current

John

Select, Start, Help and Support, Keep your Windows up- to-date with
Windows Update, Review your Update History and click on the Failed
Icon in the Status Column. What does it say?

Hope this helps.

Perhaps the original installation of Framework 1.1 is corrupted -
How to troubleshoot Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installation issues

You may have to remove the Framework version and then reinstall the same and the updates.

This solution has not worked for me. The clean up utiltiy will not remove
the framework. Just hangs up and returns an error message to see system adm.

i have tried to remove the .net framework 1.1 thru the control panel and it
will not remove the program.

Any other suggestions out there? Win 2000 pro sp4
