I have tried to install Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade several times, I am
currently running Vista. When it checks for compatibility a message comes up
that I need to update the driver for the AMD AHCI Compatible RAID controller
and AMD RAID console and the installation is then cancelled. I have tried
doing this several times and restarting the computer. It says when I check
the device manager that I have the latest version and I can't find any newer
drivers on the internet for these. I have checked the Windows upgrade advisor
and it says my computer is suitable for Windows 7 and that the RAID console
etc are compatible. How can I get round this problem to get Windows 7
installed?

Hi,

You would need appropriate raid drivers from the motherboard manufacturer
that are Win7 compatible.

yeah or maybe use an older driver. or look in BIOS to change setting to ATA
mode or compatible.
