Unable to Print

I am having problems printing anything. I have a Lexmark Photo 924
fax,copier,scanner,printer. The copier will work but when I try to print, it
says it is unable to print because it is not connected to the computer. I
unplugged and replugged everything. I uninstalled and re-installed the
printer. I have checked the port and device manager and all appear to be as
they should. What else can I try?

When you connect the printer to the PC via the USB cable, do you hear the
'ding' sound?

Are other USB devices working as they should be?
