Hello,

I have moved some folders and files to another site.
I realize now that I should not have moved them or made changes of the files.
Does System Restore have the capability to return the pc to return the
folders and files back to the prior location, or would that procedure just
create duplicate files?

No, System Restore will not move the files back. You might consider a Repair
setup, if they were System files.

I think it depends on what you mean by another site. It definitely will NOT
create duplicate files.

What type of files are you referring to?

System Restore monitors system type files only.
