Slide Show Transitions Not Smooth

I have just begun using Vista Home Premium. Transitions in the slide show
function of My Pictures is great but dissolves can at times "stick" during
the transition from one slide to the next.

I have 2GB Ram and an Intel Core 2Duo 2.2GHz/4MB L2. Any thoughts?

This behavior would be associated with the installed video card rather than
the RAM or CPU. Check for updated drivers.
