Search Feature in Windows XP Professional

I am having trouble with the search feature in
windows xp professional. It use to work properly, but all
of a sudden it quit working and I am wondering what has
caused this and how to get the search feature working
again in my windows. When I try to search the search will
do nothing.

Did you try a system restore point at a time it worked?
