IF <-- you are using a wireless mouse, especially one where the receiver is
a USB "dongle", e.g., Microsoft Notebook mouse, then it is most likely the
reason your screensaver isn't kicking in. And, you might also find "sleep"
won't work either. The reason is that the signal that is sent to/from the
mouse from the receiver is seen by the O/S as activity and thus it prevents
the screensaver from starting.
