When what you describe happen it's usually not the screensaver who is
at fault. It's some program running, probably in your system tray,
triggering the screensaver to think the computer is in use again. The
first thing I would try is to disable programs running in your system
tray one by one until you find the one affecting your screensaver. Then
you would have to decide which one is more important: The program or
the screensaver.
