Post subject: Retrieve data from notes gadget
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>general (more info?)

I accidentally hit the 'x' button next to the notes gadget and closed this
gadget. I tried to simply add it again but I only got a blank pad. I am
hoping there is some way that I can actually retrieve the info that I had on
the old notes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Settings.ini will
contain the text entered in the Notes.

However, I don't think it retains the information if you either delete the
note page or close out the note gadget.
