Are you using the web based news groups? If so see this page for help...

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/guide/newsreader.mspx

If not and your using Outlook Express as your news reader you can use the
"Reply Group" button in the "Toolbar". If the toolbar is not displayed go to
"View -> Layout" and check the Toolbar checkbox then click on Apply. When
you reply make sure you have the message your replying to open. You can get
more help for Outlook Express on the microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
news group.

If your using a third-party news reader consult the users manual or support
web pages for help...

Al,

David *is not* using the web interface.
X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.3138

David,

Assuming you are replying to my response to you in this newsgroup:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.work_remotel...rowse_f

I said "Reply to Group". Since you are POSTING using Outlook Express 6, you
can simply choose to "Reply to Group" on whatever message you wish to reply
to. You can right-click on the message you wish to reply to and choose
"Reply to Group". Ifv your toolbar view is on - you will see "New Post",
"Reply Group", "Reply", "Forward", etc buttons... "Reply Group" when you
have the message you wish to reply to... You couls also select the message
you wish to reply to and press CTRL+G...

Maybe you need to turn your toolbar on in Outlook Express to make it easier?
View --> Layout --> Nake sure "Toolbar" is checked.

Thanks Shenan. Where can I find printed instructions on how to use
Newsgroups.....so I don't have to keep asking these simple questions?
