Post subject: How to Remove DRM Protection from iTunes M4P M4V
"Is there a program that can remove the iTunes DRM protection from my purchased M4V files? And be able to convert them to MP4? Does such a software exist? I'm tired of resorting to a screen recorder to get my files into Windows Movie Maker."

Has this problem frustrated you too? If so, just follow the step by step guide below to learn how to remove DRM from iTunes purchased music and video files so that you can play them on non-Apple portable players like Zune, PSP, BlackBerry, Creative Zen, import them into your Windows Movie Maker project, etc.

The only tool you need is Daniusoft Media Converter Pro, which acts as a DRM Removal, a Video Converter, an HD Video Converter and an Audio Converter.

Step 1. Download Daniusoft Media Converter Pro, install and launch it.

Step 2. Add iTunes M4P M4V files

You can import the DRM M4P M4V files in three ways:

a. Load files by clicking the "Add..." button.
b. Directly drag and drop files to the left main window.
c. Right click on the left main window, click "Add files".

Step 3. Select the output format

By clicking the "Convert audio to:" or "Convert video to:" box, you can select the output format for the source M4P M4V files. For example, if you want to watch the DRM iTunes M4V on your PSP, you can choose "PSP, PS3" from the profile category list and choose "PSP Video MPEG-4(*.mp4) as the output format.

Note: This DRM Removal Software also allows you to customize the video/audio parameters for the output files if you are not satisfied with the default settings or cannot find the most appropriate output format for your specific mobile player. Just click the "Settings..." button to make the settings.

Step 4. Start to convert M4P M4V files

Click the "Start" button to begin to convert M4P M4V files. Then, you can enjoy the iTunes music and video without any limitation.

I am fond of TuneClone as it applies the Virtual CD burning technology. It helps to speed up the conversion process. Also no real disc is required.

iTunes doesn't allow users to burn iTunes movies or TV shows to DVD directly. Media Converter Ultimate helps you to remove DRM from iTunes M4V movies and TV shows to Burn iTunes M4V Movies to DVD for backup, enhancement or playback on traditional TV, sets home DVD players.

As the music in iTunes is encrypted with DRM, you cannot directly put it on any non-Apple MP3 player. The easiest way is:

1. Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Burn your playlist to make an audio CD.
3. After the audio CD is successfully burned, insert the disc into your CD-ROM drive again. Then you can use iTunes to import the music tracks on the burned disc as MP3 files.

Or you can get some software to help you. I use TuneClone M4P to MP3 Converter to do this. Though not free, it is very well worth a try. It generates a virtual CD drive to help to remove the DRM element without having to waste actual CD's.

Seems that you have to find a DRM removal for Mac to remove DRM from iTunes purchased movies and TV Shows and then get a DVD burning software application to burn the converted (DRM free) video to DVD disc.
