Program does not laod

I have just built two new computers for work, both with xp pro.

But one of them when I try to install microwave office and autocad, they
install fine but when I restart my computer. Some programs open but then
freeze like microwave office and IE7. There is also only the top programs
that start with A in the add/remove programs.

The strange thing is it works on the other computer this cant be a hardware
problem can it?
