Problems with Directories

After installing the latest update from microsoft, my computer experienced
the following problems.

A. Whenever i move an object to the recycle bin, the object is moved but
the prompt window for the move will not disappear and when I force the window
to close, window explorer restarts.
B. Whenever i move an object from one folder to another folder, likewise,
the object is moved but the prompt window will not disappear and forced
termination of the process result in reset of windows explorer.
C. Creation of a new folder or directory result in window explorer freezing
up and need restarting.

I've tried these methods to fix the problem:

A. Restoring to an older update point. Didn't work.
B. I thought the display driver for the video card, Nvidia, was
malfunctioning so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling that, didn't work.
C. looked on the site a noticed a hot fix patch designed for deletion of
large files and installed the patch, didn't work
D. I was notified that disabling the remote differential compression
function of windows would fix the problem and tried it, and that didn't work
either.

Will someone help me fix this error?
