Post subject: Problem with USB PCI-card driver
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>device_driver>dev (more info?)

I need help with not fully installed 4-slot USB PCI card.
Windows found it and installed these USB devices:

USB Root Hub (2 ports) - OK
USB Root Hub (2 ports) - OK
USB Root Hub (4 ports) - OK
VIA Rev 2 USB Universal Host Controller - OK
VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller - OK
VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller - problem
VIA USB Enhanced Host Controller - OK

I only can use slots 0 and 1 of the card for hw, hardware connected to
2 and 3 is not recognized.
If I try to plug optical mouse to slot 2 or 3, it's no lighting, but
if I plug my USB external battery it starts charging instantly)

This shows in properties of failed device:

Universal Serial Bus controllers
PCI Slot 3 (PCI bus 0, device 8, function 1)
This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

What's the problem and how can I resolve?
