Another web forum poster, although this one did at least have the original
post - but not the whole conversation - included when it was likely pushed
back to the actual newsgroups it probably started from.

It seems english is not either person's primary language. You may benefit
from posting in a newsgroup (or other forum) that is in the language that
*s* your primary one.
First - download and install the latest driver for the network device.
If you cannot do that - boot into Safe Mode and remove the driver that is
installed for it there. Then reboot into normal mode and install the latest
driver.
