Most of the PC's I now use, both at home and at work are Vista PC's, but
given the nature of my job, I still have to use XP quite often, and will
likely have to do so for some time. That said, I HATE the fact that I am
unable to restrict access to my main PC and home server (Longhorn) by forcing
clients to use NLA since I need the option to connect with my XP clients.
The thing that really bugs me, is that remote desktop help in Longhorn beta
3 implies that you can obtain NLA in other versions, which as of right now is
incorrect AFAIK. It states:
"In Windows Vista, Remote esktop uses NLA. You can also download NLA as a
service pack on computers running some earlier versions of Windows."
Perhaps a subtle reference to the forthcoming SP3 for XP? I was just
wonderng if anyone had any insight into this issue.
