Post subject: Multiple 1394 adapters & local area connections listed
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>help_and_support (more info?)

For several days my computer would freeze/hang for about every 5 seconds,
for about five seconds.

I thinks it's because I have so many connections listed.

But in device manager it only shows 1 1394 adapter and 1 3com gigabit 3C940

every thing seems fine now, but
for some reason my network connections lists 3 1394 adapters and 5 local
area connections.

Any suggestions?
