Multiboot XP Home

I read through some of the threads on this subject, but didn't find what I
was looking for. Many years ago my primary drive failed, and I endured the
agony of starting over. My drive zero, 80g, is divided evenly into C: & E:
My drive one, 160g, is divided into G: & H: My D: is DVDRW & F: is CDRW.
The HD's are all NTSF. There is currently nothing on drive G: My system has
grown buggy over the years. I get random stop errors, even when no one is on
the machine. XP won't shut down, it reboots unless I hold the power button
after it shuts down. Error messages pop up periodically, when I am doing
nothing. I want to switch drives and start over, but before I do, I would
like to make C: & G: multiboot. Then I can take my time about installing my
software & updating it. All of my software is legal and I have the install
disks, but there is the problem of moving my "favorites", Password Manager, &
a multitude of other pics, docs, etc. that have accumulated over the years.
The majority of my data is on drives E: & H:

Roy, leave drive 0 connected and you can start the Install of WinXP on
G: from within Windows on 0 or set the cd drive as first boot device in the
Bios. One of the install steps is
selecting a drive or partition to install XP on. Just select G: The
bootloader will include your WinXP on drive 0 and you will have a choice of
which one to select from a menu
on bootup.
